Aluminum Foil

It’s jagged ends like the edges of my heart

pointed at anyone who will tear me apart

I was smooth once before with arms open wide

but experience has taught me don’t let anyone coincide

It bends backwards and forwards for whatever others need

never cease to stop helping whatever others heed

to prolong ones existence or to cover the wounds

don’t tell me i’m garbage, shove off the swoons

Although shiny and silver it may look so fierce

it’s fragile manner, one mistake and it'll pierce

through that armor that shines like the starry nights sky

one tear and i’m gone although I may not die
