Bloodshed and horror, Syria is a disaster
Peace and aid, nothing could come faster

Mothers and fathers can only cope
Brothers and sisters can only hope

The children are stuck in a war between ISIS, the rebels, and Assad
Everyday that goes by only makes an end seem like a facade

A death toll higher than we can imagine
The least we can do is have some compassion

They live in terrorism everyday
Is a prayer all we can say?

For the refugees a new country would feel like a utopia
But here in the US, some are clouded by xenophobia

Closing our doors is the worst thing we can do
For people who live in a place where the sky is no longer blue

Bloodshed and horror, Syria is a disaster
Peace and aid, nothing could come faster
