All Bodies Are Lovely Bodies

Thu, 01/07/2016 - 11:54 -- ambruh0

Fat is not synonymous with ugly,

For my body is lovely.

I am fat, but I do not demand commiseration

Nor do I desire a healthy observation.

Why must fat be a bad word?

Like a play written for the absurd.

My body is great,

Including all of the weight.

Yes my belly pokes out

 And My thighs say thunderous,

But my beauty screams Murderous.

My body is a temple,

And is absolutely monumental.

Understand that fat is not an insult.

Why must we say we are pretty and fat?

Why not say we are just beautiful?

Why must we focus on pretty?

When none of that matters in the ‘holy city?’

We should focus on the subject at hand,

Which people tend to misunderstand?

Fat is not synonymous with ugly

For all bodies are lovely
