Adolescence

Trapped in his own asylum

Letting fumes take hold of his lungs

Booze takes over his brain

Like a video control game.

Midnight thoughts

Rake at his mind

Like jubilation

Being exiled.

He stares at a wall

Stops consuming death.

Everything freezes.

A moment in time

And all hope slips out the window.
