ring sings the phone screaming for attention

silence then a greeting I assume is being expressed

what is she saying? I heard my name, thanks for the mention

her switch from perfect english has me impressed

away from my previous thought I digress. 

These sounds so foreign to my undeaf ears

are they talking of school, clothes, or beers?

I feel left out, so far away

If only I could understand the words they say.

I can't have this limit any more in my way

This new language I must learn today!
