Handheld Prison

Ignorance grows like apples in an orchard.

They stare into the void,

Not realizing they are walking into it.

He makes the world eat out of his palm,

like a llama at the zoo.

They walk into his trap like as if they were dogs running in the cage for a treat.

We light up the night,

because we are afraid of the dark.

We need the dark,

nightlights hide the consequences we need.
