To the Ordinary Bully

You make my skin crawl

For you are unaware of your actions

you say for you are not the predator

But for me,

I am your prey.

Everyday I hide in my dark shadows

Hoping you don’t see me through the hollows

They say keep your friends close and your enemies closer

But the closer you are

The weaker I become.

For I see a made up figure

Who you have made me see myself to be.

But You my friend

You are my enemy,

A never ending battle that I will forever fight.

But I,

I will stand firm.

For I am me

and no one can tear me down

For I am dressed in a strong armor

Of never giving up.
