The term 'abuse' has been hijacked
it's far over used
you scream the word loudly
when you're just not amused.
You run to the courtroom
demanding the judge saves
you from a comment that caused you to rave!

Meanwhile...

There isn't a day that comes or goes
that real abuse isn't somewhere exposed.
A child is murdered by his own mother's hand
One kid shoots another, just as he planned
An elderly man is left all alone
he dies from from hunger, he's nothing but bone

Abuse is no joke, don't use the term lightly
There's real horror out there, and it comes nightly....
