I'm fine.
I do it all: clubs, sports, school.
Everyone loves me.
I am not afraid.
I no longer panic at archery meetings.
Don't feel fear when I see your name.
I talk openly about what happened, showed you kindness.
My fear is gone.
Until.
Until you text me.
One text.
Just a simple "hello".
And suddenly, I can't breathe.
It all rushes back in.
I can never escape the past.
Time passes, and I'm fine once again.
This isn't a lie: my truths simply change by the second.
