"He Who I Can't Live Without"

Man cannot live without oxygen,

Nor can fish without its water; And if

No parent is present,

Can there be a son or daughter?

The moon, the sun, the stars and sky--

Are Fathered by a Maker:

He is the same who holds my heart--

He is my Lord and Savior.

You asked what I can't live without,

And so, in verse, I'll answer: He's the

One who saw this broken girl,

And saved her from disaster.

This God, this King, this Master:

He who I can't live without;

The same Designer of the stars,

The One who holds my heart.

Who created oxygen,

The fish, and every water?

Who adopted every soul

To be His sons and daughters?

This God, this King, this Master:

He who I can't live without;

The same Designer of the stars,

The One who holds my heart.

So, you see, every creation

Was created by a Maker--

How could any creature, then, be

Present, lest He choose to make her?

This God, this King, this Master:

He who I can't live without;

The same Designer of the stars,

The One who holds my heart.
