For all the people so unkind, I never really minded,

When you droned on and on,

About her greatness, her perfection, her sweet disposition..

 

And all the while you worshipped her,

I found myself falling foolishly in-love,

Everyday deeper,

In-love with you.

Yes, YOU.

 

And you had not the slightest clue.
