Reality: The Music of Today
Location
When I reach for the pen and paper, and begin to write/
Do I write about what’s right or mainstream it to tight/
One brings fame while the other brings respect/
I guess the only way to impress is to show intellect/
Every time I sketch songs, I tend to make them extravagant/
Above the efficient and away from maleficent/
Towards the morality to make you a better person/
Who knew Hip Hop could take a turn to this version/
I see music with cursing about twerking and jerking/
Then claim it to all that they made it from hardworking/
Its an easy route to become a big hit wonder/
But once that trend ceases, watch the popularity plunder/
Then back to my status, oh the places you’ll go/
The stories of how you blew all your earnings from one show/
Now take a rest kid and go plug in my microphone/
Imma show you how big this young rapper has grown/
