I understand your reasoning as to why you did it

And I respect it 100%

I'm not mad

It makes sense

I get why

But you promised me forever

Does that mean forever is over?

You promised I'd have your heart forever

And for always

And I promised you the same

But you lead me on

You told me I was all you were ever looking for

That I was your whole world

You told me you'd never do anything to hurt me

Yet here we are

Heartbroken

Lost

Confused

You lead me on

Told me you loved me

Told me you would miss me

When you left

Like we'd stay together till the end of eternity

Yet here we are

You kissed

You held me

But worst of all

You played me

You say you weren't lying

That you still love me

AndI can tell you care

Unless you're still lying

But you promised you'd never break a promise

And you promised me forever

Yet here we are

It was so sudden

The way and when we parted

So unexpected

So sudden

What brought it on?

Why then?

Why not before?

Why not later?

Why did you wait until after I fell in love?

I'm confused

I respect the way you did it

And I'm glad you didn't continue to carry it on

When you're still thinking about her

That I was the most amazing girl you could ever ask for

That I was your purpose in life

But I wasn't the only one on your mind

And yet

For some odd reason

The only thing I don't get

Is why you said all that in the first place
