Worshiped? Valued.

"You know, you worship me."

No I don't.

value you.

But I do not kiss the ground you walk upon.

I know I can be intense.

I guess it's just that

I have so much to give,

and for the first time, I have someone who is worthy

and willing to accept it what I have to offer.

I know you won't just toss me aside because you don't "need" me anymore.

We are not built on "I needs," but on "I wants."

Don't ask me why, but this makes all the difference.

So no,

I do not think I worship you.

And perhaps that is denial,

But I can live my life without you...

I just like you better in it.
