Promise Ring

No promises I promise But just to let you know, That promises aren't something to be afraid of, Because I don't promise to people I don't love. Promises did nothing but hurt you, Trust me I know. But I promise this is not the case but if you run you'll never know. I promise I won't propose too early but just know I have plans with you in them, With diamonds and houses and shrubs and arguments about trips to the store. My intentions are purer than our white picket fence, I'm sorry- I don't want to scare you away but I don't use the word 'until',I actually prefer 'since'. I want to know if this is real Or if it will last, Because you don't believe 'forever' exists.
