the authentic me doesnt try and write fancy crap that sounds philosophical and sophisticated

the authentic me doesnt care for capitalization or grammar

because i know none of that matters

its the meat and meaning of it

i never liked the idea that you must dress to impress

because i dont much care for physicality 

impress me with your words

impress me with your heart

impress me with your mind

i dont need you to fluff it up for me

and i dont need you to lie to me either

theres no point in that

when i ask how you are you dont need to tell me "fine" or "good"

i know how much it hurts to say that when its a lie

so dont lie to me

i can take it

the authentic me just wants to see the authentic you
