Just A Feeling

I'm thinking of you now,

While I am in the same small town,

And you are in Chicago.

I'm not jealous and I do not have envy,

But I am quite happy for you,

All of you.

While I'm stuck here doing dreaded math,

You are there, having the time of your life.

That is what makes me happy.

I don't know what you are up to now,

But I have a gut feeling that you are enjoying yourself.

I hope you are having as good a time as I did,

You deserve it.

Go, have fun. Tell me everything when you return.

And live your life,

This is your adventure now.
