Integrity

2 Peter 1:5-6

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith excellence, to excellence, knowledge;

 6 to knowledge, self-control; to self-control, perseverance; to perseverance, godliness;

Integrity is what you are ... I wonder about that statement

Who will define you unless your life displays it all?

Who knows who you are if it’s hidden from yourself?

Who measures the equity before and during your falls?

A man is as good as his word but what about the one who listens?

Can hearing be flawed and interpretation far off base?

What about polluted hearts which surround matters of innocence?

Is not life by some defined as a never ending steeple-chase?

The statement seems so incomplete in this world of schizophrenia

We change personality like we so often blow our nose

Maybe after others define the one I seem to be

They'll write my name in pudding before they’ll eat the overdose
