Inspiration

I often sit wondering

how different life would be,

if my one and only mother

had not given her all to me.

I am so eternally grateful

for all that she has done.

She wraps me up in warm, sweet hugs

And fills cloudy days with sun.

Thank you, Mom, for your sacrifice

and all your pleading prayers.

Each tender word whispered for me

Has made life much easier to bear.

Let us all take the time

to think of our mothers dear.

The ones who bleed wisdom through every pore

And freely give inspiration to hear.
