Homeward Bound

Today was your last day with me, And I didn't say goodbye Left for another city, but to me, another country As my heart falls to my thigh. We weren't the best together, But we did what we could. You'll stay in my heart forever, Just like you should. We are going to fade away, But you'll come back soon, I can't wait for the day, Together again, like a full moon. Come home soon, safe and sound, Can't wait til you're homeward bound. And now this is for you, Because you inspired me To write my dreams out, which means you.
