Gays,Bisexuals,and Lesbians

Sat, 07/19/2014 - 15:17 -- Realist

Can I be your sunshine?
You could be all mine
We'd be just fine
Go outside the lines
Of what defines a perfect couple
And when we'd walk by people would be muffled with shock
At the same sex holding hands
Breaking tradition
Proving society wrong that "Love IS Love" that it's not fiction
If only they'd shut their mouths full of words with doubt and open their ears
To let all of their fears of something different disappear
Here we are brave and ready
Gays,Bisexuals,and Lesbians.....
No I don't have a "coming out story" but that's because there's nothing to come out of
I'm not living a lie
The only lie that's being lived is the lie that Gays,Bisexuals, and Lesbians can't be accepted
Into marriage, into parenthood, into the workforce
I just want to be someone's sunshine
And to have same sex marriage rights be all of OURS
Then me and my wife would be just fine
Knowing we've went outside the lines
Of what defines a perfect couple
