Flawless

Society makes it so hard to be a teenage girl nowadays.

In an attempt to stop fat-shaming, the media has started skinny-shaming.

It's the year of the ass and I don't mean the farm animal.

We keep sexualizing women and whether we fat-shame or skinny-shame we're still shaming.

The shaming needs to stop. We are ALL flawless.

We all get frizzy hair when it's humid.

We all get pimples whether it's one or thirty.

We all have pores, whether you can see them or not.

We can have sex with who we want or we can abstain until marriage or forever.

We can wear maxi skirts or mini skirts.

Whether you're a size 2 or size 12, you're beautiful.

Some people can't help being "skinny" while some can't help being "fat".

Why does society make us feel the need to judge and label everything we see.

We are the human race and we are flawless.

I used to wake up everyday and hate myself every second I was awake.

I was barely 100 pounds and thought I was too fat.

Fuck that, I'm flawless.

Now I wake up and I couldn't be any more proud of myself.

Screw societal norms. I do what makes me happy.

I wear what I want when I want. I wear no make up or sometimes I choose to grab red lipstick.

I feel beautiful in my own skin.

I may not be a size 0, but I also don't have a "booty".

But I have the confidence of knowing that I love myself and I'm flawless.
