Thank you, tornado
When I was ten, you whipped through town
Sirens blared
I thought nothing of you, told my friends
“My mommy isn’t hiding in the hallway
Mommy says there’s no bad weather”
The things I have gratitude for are simple
I'm thankful for a roof over my head
the trails life has brought and will
I have plenty of thanks for my health
I'm grateful I have overcome
major medical setbacks
To my mother, here’s a big thank you
I love and thank you for all that you do
For the times I do not know what to do you know what to say
And the times I needed you to drive me everyday
I'm thankful because Jehovah God is the most important part of my life.I'm thankful to have two new friends, Jason Laster and Stephanie, his wife.I'm also thankful to have my other friends and my brother.
The inside of my mind,
the design is so complicated.
So intricate,
and it seems that thoughts
can be so crowding,
and fear does this rerouting
