The first thing I saw when I met you
Were your wings, held close behind
Tucked and folded, neatly hidden
A stifled source of pride.
I loved you for your wings,
Though I knew they would be your demise
“It's so much fun! It's so much fun!”
Said the deliriously happy red and white stripes, gliding up and down the flaps of the grand tent
“It’s so much fun! It's so much fun!”
Why rid the earth of filth when the filth was you
you took over in Germany when they had no idea what to do
You led them to dismay, you took our rights away
you told them that because we were different we were wrong
"You are like a cloud I spy peripherally,
But vanish as I set mine eye upon it.
but vanish as I cast my gaze upon it.
