SHE BROKE MY HEART

As if enough MEN hadn’t already done the same –
To those who judge me
before they know me
Call me immature
because of my age
Label me a lesbian
because I have short hair
My heart has been used.
Torn, Hurt, and confused.
But yet, I stood for you love.
When you caused me pain,
And my anger I blamed,
You were all that I thought of.
