A kid wakes up.
He sees the sky out of the glass pane window.
He starts to shiver because of the morning cold.
Once the young child stands up,
He started to feel confused.
But then he soon realized
yesterday marked another year of national puerto rican day
an event that embodies the meaning of independence
where puerto rican men and women fought
so i can live
