Hunter of my soul.
Master of my body.
Be on your way.
Captured, I am not meant to stay.
Break me if you must.
But this bittersweet cage is unjust.
It's 7 in the morning
I'm off to my first place of learning
Imaginative Writing
When suddenly
The lady whom I've given the best 3 years of existnece to
I heard the hurricane
Felt the air pressure change
Terrified for my crouching child
Holding her as tight as I could
Blocking her from danger
As my master cracks his whip
I heard the hurricane
Felt the air pressure change
Terrified for my crouching child
Holding her as tight as I could
Blocking her from danger
As my master cracks his whip
Concrete blocks on the sidewalk
A bounce in every step
A beam for each passing face
A passion firing to every heart
A simplistic reminder
Be a mastermind.
Be one of a kind.
Be the best of the best,
and you may fly.
Become a better leader.
Become the overseer.
Become better than the rest,
And you may rise.
Dreams
our sincerest
kept secrets
Our heart desires
that burn
like raging
fires.
Things that we
can't or
won't say
aloud
What do you see? What do you hear?
What do you feel, what’s coming near?
How does it happen? How does it come?
How does it rise, or fall from the sun?
Where does it live? Where does it sleep?
I walk down the sidewalk, the trailway, the road.
My feet move beneath me with no thought of where they are going.
Desperately wanting for guidance but hating the strings attached,
I wander aimless, unmoving.
Tackle the dreams of a thousand human beings
Gaze upon their souls to serve a meaning
Failure is not an option while tormented
Road blocks are plowed by the strength of senses
