When you’re a kid, they tell you a lot of things They show you stories and prayers and coloring They always tell you that you can do anything And that you could be queen of the world
I forget to use a filter sometimes, and it's never what I intend to say. Always trying to match your words like rhymes (too insecue for silence anyway).   I got your attenion? I'm misusing!
I put on that little green dress for him I slip on the six inch stilettos for her I keep my hair long because they tell me to I wear a push-up because that's the only way he'll accept me
Fuck metaphors and similes my life is not a hyperbole. I'd like for you to know I stand up for unity. I keep it sweet and simple, see as to not to confuse you. Because humans as you know have a virtue;
Your swagger saunter Player flaunter Authentic imposter Oblivious haunter   Mal-intent unheard Accusation absurd Sexual oppressor She’s silenced via pressure  
If I could change anything I would eliminate hate Take away judgment Remove rasism And get rid of evil
“How do boys look good without makeup?”   Because society hasn’t told them they look bad without it Because their value is not based on their looks Because they are worth more to the world Than a pretty face
