it would happen to me most often as a child when sleeping over my grandparents' house in the red room,   as my sleeping and waking minds met, I knew myself to be elsewhere--
Remorse of the Reavers   Crestfallen feathers and Spindlewood smoke exhaust from the clashing Colossals asunder The wail of the bairn crosses plains unforeseen  towards her cove where the she-beast lay broken
“Effervescent!' said I, “thing of ghost.” Back into my memories bewitching And so it came gently murmuring Haunting - haunting - haunting!
Coleceanth  Have you seen the rain at night Lumined down by city light? It pounds upon the asphalt here Makes fountains clear as crystal tear.
The cold fingers of your memories cling to the back of my neck, to the back of my mind the same way the tears grab at my eyes. The scent of you burns my nose, the same way the images of you laying next to me floods my dreams.
I live in a house with two ghosts Mirrored in themselves when they are near the other They drift through each other But alone they seem nearly solid
Left and right, front and back people Stand there. Inching closer to the doors that Slide. All for Saving their legs. The ding Sounds a high pictched tone. A  Sudden jolt forward, everyone ushers
There's dark and grey every night and day,  if not living here, then waiting near, to pounce, to maul slow me to a crawl.  I want to want to want to, but it's haunting, haunting, haunting.
The ghost
I saw it but I held my breath
You are the monster under my bed.
I have left the world of lyrics for a time My pain relives with every rhyme Heartache infests my PTSD mind Haunted by the ghost I’ve left behind Peace is proving hard to find
Mind Virus             Like a plague             It dwells inside             Spreading throughout your body             Nourishing you
You can never forget. In everything you see, Every where you look, You'll always see me.   Every day, every hour, Every minute, every second, I am there, more haunting Then you reckoned.
Voices haunt my sleep. Soaring shadows awaken my soul. Falling far, far, far down into the depths of ruins and caves you left empty for my arrival.
I woke up restless, from a fright Dreamt a dream, a horror night Standing near the foot of my bed An empty soul, smiling and dead   An empty cry and shallow please Yet this ghost won't set me free
You cannot touch, only feel You cannot smell, only see You cannot run, You cannot move It is all around you There is nowhere to run There is nowhere to hide Your hair stands on end
Falling through the cold, Hearing the sounds of screaming nights, Seeing time change to dust. I feel you there. You seem so real. Like the little girl in an empty park, Running around with glee.
