I thought to myself, college will be a breeze.
Grad parties were tons of fun.

Do you not see how talented you are?
God-gifted and yet
you still fuck up this far?

Dear Morning,
O good Morning,
I could choose to write to
Sleep
and stay
asleep.
I could choose to kiss
my imagination
and cuddle
my dreams
as lovers, beautiful beings that

A new day!
The sun shines so bright…
What time is it? 8:54…?
I have class in six minutes! Run, run, run…!
Was that due today??
They say it is hard,
You think you can manage,
But it takes a bit,
To really see the damage.
We were packed to leave,
Very eager to go,
I am the first in my family to go to college
I just wish I can get more acknowledge
I consider myself smart
But I can be very critical on myself for the most part
I am an independant women who has many goals
I look out the window I'm high above. Far away somewhere new.
There's strangers around me I search for a familiar face but don't see any.
This is my new life now, far away from my home town, a new start.
You don't know what your walking into.
Moving all your little kid junk,
Mom and dad cleaning out your room.
You feel lonely and secluded.
Not used to living with all girls,
How do I handle the drama?
