A pretty girl in the brightest of dresses,
She smiles bright and laughs loudly,
she hides in fright and cries quietly.
she met him first here, and he made her smile.

I touch your soul with just a glance
A spark of blue that floods my eyes
Yet I’m anchored to their comfort
You look back and see the world
While I see one glistening star
You see the universe
I see you across the room and I have to know what your voice sounds like. I have to know what your touch feels like.
True Beauty is distant and rare
Wars are fought and battles lost
Beauty of a woman was the just the cost
You have stumbled upon this sight
When the earth shakes yet standing still
I can't see the back of my eyelids.
Only the flashing silhouette of her visage.
Return to me the details of her face, I pray.
But never will it come.
It's simply the price I pay
for staring at the Sun.
I'm not words with good
take another stab at it
I gasp
Gripping onto each utterance
breaking down each sound
tripping verbally
swelling internally, till I can't breath
the pressure is crushing me
