Life is a fight
The battlefield of the mind
War wages within our souls
Or should I say for your soul.
It's a war between
Darkness and Light,
Between Good versus Evil.
Don't be naive bro
Peace only comes through salvation
Everything else is a delusion.
Your task masters have only one mission - to steal, kill and destroy.
There is beauty in the river as it flows
The trees whistling in the wind
Running, I keep going
Why isn't anyone else here?
It's only me
Why does it just feel so right?
In the midst of cheerful conversation and laughter
I remembered
the bareness that lies ahead
and it lies indeed
because it fulfills my need
for deeper compatibility
I am a caricature of a whisper
My breath tries and fails to stand on its’ own
Not daring to speak my truth
The only escape through the pages I am named for
The forces of life are colored in two
Dark and Light now a single spew.
The pieces may be shattered in our life
But we have conjured up demons in us.
Darkness the oozing reflection of safeness allured

The world around me has no power to stop itself.
There is weakness in every corner, in every crevice.
I hid in the crevices with it.
For, where there is weakness, I am also found.
Fought so long and hard that I've forgotten who I am,
Breathed the dust of angels and choked on the sand,
Wrestled with the devil and bled scarlet, heavy red,
On the other side of Paradise, where I lay almost dead.

Light in the dark holds her
Keeps her hidden
Away in some corner
Has no freedom to explore
To walk through life can be as beautiful as a walk in the park.....As long as you live in the light and not the dark.....For I am hear to testify to the evil that grows from darkness....
