Reflection.

Thu, 05/10/2018 - 14:45 -- Florhru

The forces of life are colored in two

Dark and Light now a single spew.

The pieces may be shattered in our life

But we have conjured up demons in us.

Darkness the oozing reflection of safeness allured

Light, everyone sees, shining with all its might

No constellation of stars can compare to Light.

What may we know if we choose to be with Dark?

It’s so easy to keep ourselves in the dark.

Keeping ourselves hidden, no clearness of our reality.

Weight of our pains in calamity.

“It’s where I feel more myself”

They say.

“No one can see me, I’m disguised.”

Yet what if you’re worth more?

What if you are destined to shine bright?

To not be in the night.

To have meaning, worth, and value.

Darkness feels safe, feels right.

Light feels loud, feels proud.

But what could be its distinction?

Not sure it’s just a reflection.
