I toss and turn, but sleep won't come, My eyes are tired, my mind undone. The clock ticks on, a constant hum, And still I lay, a restless one.
Every night is the longest day Untill I see the small sliver of sun over the bay   The bay where the birds eat and  play I cant escape this but they can flyaway   So quite, not peacful
Sometimes i get stuck in that place between being sleep or awake Conscious but yet it all seems fake As if I'm looking at a world unfamiliar to me But where else could I be?
Tired but panicked Slightly apathetic Can't get to sleep When I'm so exhausted Let me sleep My eyelids are heavy But demons await me For when my mind clears
