You deserve better. You both deserve better. You deserve better than this or that.
those long nights by the lakethose beautiful blue eyesthey were almost as bright as mine you would tell methose shimmering stars glowing like the way my necklace did in your handsthe way you would run your hands through your hairit reminded me of
I’ve mourned the dead but never the living. Until now, my brother. Pain has never been so prominent. The heartbreak of realizing your own blood sibling is not with you.
I recently had a dream A foggy, misty sort of scene My recollection a warm hue And quiet beeping  Beep  Beep Beep
Bump bump bump, was the only sound that was playing in my ears It was loud then quiet and as the first words were spoken  my mind went into its only place drowning out the rest of the world.
Do you ever feel As  insignificant  As a single flea?  
Learn to not let fear Control you or your life  For when you live in fear You are never fully here Never fully present in each moment 
Receiving gifts Makes me feel anxious I feel like I do not deserve a gift And I am unsure how to  Say thank you in a way 
I can rhyme all day long But some times not a single song With my throat swollen And my mind bare, I wish to see my people there.   Can you see the same sunrise as me? Can it dance upon waves?
