Do You See The Sunrise?

I can rhyme all day long

But some times not a single song

With my throat swollen

And my mind bare,

I wish to see my people there.

Can you see the same sunrise as me?

Can it dance upon waves?

Does it like up like a golden flame

Does it sing 'good morning' to day?

I can play and dance without a worry in the world

But cry myself to sleep.

I miss the bright green forests

The mountain ranges bright,

And the dancing warmth fire light.

Do you watch the same moon rise as me?

Can it whisper quietly your name?

Do you hear the creaking wind vanes?

Do they lessen all your pains?

I can help everyone understand their thoughts

But mine come in whispers to me.

They remind me of things I've seen.

I miss the long walks after dark

I miss the people inside my heart
