These slumbers of selfish
These twisted scenes of melancholy
They stir an ire of passionate wish
Interstate Vision
Driving by orange jumpsuits on the highway
You’ll smile at me and I’ll look away
You take my right hand, your left one’s on the wheel

Flying through life is full of so many
Goals to accomplish.
I was always the happy one
There would be the year I just faked it all,
11th grade year was that year, for me
The year where I realized I was done--
I was coming back from my left knee being shattered,

Where the deity is seated upon contemplation
In search of solitude where thoughts is the only companion
What am I longing for?
Suddenly the surroundings is filled with obscurity
I am standing in the wings,at the edge of something new. Something bigger, brighter,more real than anything I have ever known. A boundless paradise, a realization of a half-remembered dream. I feel the whisper of its happiness reach out to me.
