She bore,
life.
First two,
expected.
A third,
sweet baby girl
don't you know you're unintentional.
But oh how she'll love you
all the same.
Daughter.
I am hers and
A sister is a gift given to last
With a love that cannot be massed.
Through thick and thin,
Through darkness and light,
She will support you with all her might.
Guide me, until I break
the surface of the water
that held me down.
Hold me, as I gasp
for air that was denied to me
for so long.
Help me, as I swim
with struggling, unsure strokes
Who is my mentor?
Who helped me make it through?
Ironically, you.
You caused my pain.
You caused my sorrow.
But you also led me to tomorrow.
