now an adult who drives a car
he is going away to Oregon State
my brother is 18 and much older that me
he is leaveing for college
leaving me
i will miss him
but i know
Kids dive into their imagination
To look and seek for inspiration
They find ideas for games, stories and art
But that kind of inspiration doesn’t come from the heart
Rest now little brother do not make a fuss.
Learn to know you words and speak with a leveled mind.
This world will be harsh and will not change its ways.
Brother
You are my brother
My closest friend
My most annoying at times
But, my brother.
We are very alike
We both like Chinese food
You like toast without
But I need the butter.
I look up at the stars
And all I can think of is you
How all of a sudden you are growing up
And feeling emotions you can't even put a name to
For this girl you love
I believe I was only 6 when you were born
My first little sibling
I remember holding you in my arms
and being told,
"be careful, with the baby."
Someone always had to watch me when I was with you
I love you,
That doesn't even begin to cover how much I care for you.
I love those mischievous hazel eyes that you flash with all
your devil's mind games.
