Internalizing the turmoil helps me cope.
When they look at me, they look through me, beyond me. I am nothing. I am something. A Struggle to Be, I am me.
The world today is at war.
People screaming for more-
More peace, more love,
more reaching for the stars above.
No more war, no more lies,
no more spit in our people's eyes.
Everyday I wish.
Everyday I wish that I believe.
Everyday I wish that I believe America is great.
Everyday I wish that I believe America is great enough to want.
I pledge allegiance to the Racism of the United States of America,
and to the Rich, White, and Wealthy for which it stands,
one Nation under a Christian God,
divisible,

Built for the free, convenient she forgot about me
Declaration of rights for them not we, isn't she lovely?
She kills us in the streets and strikes below the belt, at the knee
ODE TO AMERICA- ALEX WALKER

How great it is to live in Amerikkka
Where white's, black's, gays, and straights
