Green Goddess of Freedom
Welcoming those from across the land,
to this concrete jungle that never sleeps.
Born and raised under high metal beams.
But this is not Who I Am,
This is the reason to Why I Am.
I still have wet eyes from the past dreams I watched die
I still have sore feet from walking the dark streets of my misery
I still have a hard head because when its all said and done im still dead
When are people most alone? most will think when no ones home but, I think its deeper than that were simply missing the cold hard facts.
I am the kind of girl that the movie would be set around.
That is what my mom said.
But I am more than that. I am the pen.
I see the world like a watercolor,
with blurred lines and edges.
All my thoughts seeping together,
memories bleeding into one.
From skyscrapers to childhood mistakes,
In your eyes you see a regular 16 year old when really I'm a girl who's trapped in her own world. I'm a girl who's scared of the future, who's scared of being hurt or cut that has to wait to get sutured.
Panda
An animal that is seen as sweet
As cuddly
As adorable
Basically
It can't be a threat
But when provoked to their
Pandas can give you a rude awkening
And show you
I will so often looking to the sky,
he never left and been here forever.
always wondering and wondering why?
always here in every type of weather.
I always have to think slowly instead,
A rebel chid raised in a grounded home
she has always felt alone
The darkness came in
along with all of its sin
I am the queen of disorientation.
There were bumble bees building nests in my hair and now I'm made of honey combes;
but sometimes my sweetness can go sour under pressure.
Aliens. I believe in aliens.
I know they are real because I am one.
I know I'm an alien because human stare at me.
I know I'm an alien because humans often tell me I'm different.
God's love is my meaning. Without him I am nothing, and with him I am precious. I am chosen; I am loved, and that's why I matter.
When mom and dad were young, she had a fit
So my dad made like a banana and split
As an infant, my mom gave me his outfit
18 years later I've out grown it
the games of my childhood
a young bud i sit
in my garden i grow,
the sun shines down
giving us life and hope.
A young bud i am
and hope to always be.
one day the sun faded away
I Am a boy
I Am a sick boy
I Am a boy with legs, but no footsteps
I Am a boy who had blood in his brain
I Am a boy who was nearly blind
I Am a boy who survived
I Am (still) the boy in the wheelchair
I am Green Eggs and Ham. I am Barney's Mr. Beeper Bopper. I am the little girl who loved animals and hated seafood.
I am strong and tough.
I am speed and power
I work til I've had enough
I'm there for the first and last hour
This is who I am and this is me
I might not look like much
I'm more then what you can see
