It’s 5:30 so I wake up
To a day I know is going to be long
The T.V is on and all is going on wrong.
Breaking news, but it’s not really news:
Hatred and brutality make up our personalities,
Endless wars and fighting brings nothing but insanity,
They explain it as fidelity, define it as loyalty,
But is killing your neighbors truly an act of audacity?

Drowning in anxiety
I envy peers who’ve claimed elementary school royalty
An alien in my own world
I am tired
Tired of waking up at 6 AM to go to a white-washed prison where
I am taught
Not to learn
But to pass a test
Tired of hearing my dad loudly groan, "Oh really?!" when he sees a homosexual
Life
Life is that everlasting flower
The flower that is always in constant bloom
People are that dying powder
