When we met you told me that your heart was a broken song
So I hope you were able to fix it with the pieces you took after shattering mine.
But mine will never be reassembled on solid ground
I don’t remember exactly what I was doing.
Exactly what made me stop.
I remember the storm sending shivers through the walls
The raucous thunder crashing through the skies like a marching band
And the rain
When the sun lifts, I think about tomorrow
and the earth bringing foreign land,
making rosemary and lavender
that grows from three month rain.
When the world is dark,
And the tears stream down my face.
When I can’t breathe,
When the weight of the world rests on my shoulders,
That is WHEN I write.

I think the saddest word is maybe
Maybe I did It
Maybe it was not me
Maybe I will never admit
If I may be a good girl
Maybe I should wait
When we die,
We'll fly like birds in the sky,
Together till the end of forever,
N' every soul in death is the same,
With a story to its name,
N' these bird all cry,
Singing the songs of pain n' pleasure,
The morning after, i rise agian.
The sunlight filters through, broken streams
I force myself up, i go on as planned
but the next morning, will i rise agian?
Going through so much
Day in......Day out.... fatigue overwhelms my emotions
When does it stop?
Did I cause this or bring it upon myself?
Look at Pam, at Sam, and even Frank
Look at all the misfortune kids around the world.
I used to be here,
Didn't we all.
History shows,
Powerful nations,
Always fall.
But we never worry,
Never show fear.
Just shake our fists,
And drink a beer.
No! Don't cry,
I'm not what you think
I'm not who you think
I'm not where you think
I'm not when you think
I'm every thing
I'm every thing
I'm every where
I'm every where
When I was young I thought my home was great
When I was ten he hit me I swore it would never happen again
When I was 15 I left my perfect home with perfectly broken bones
When I was 18 I shut the door and never came back
I hear the soft footsteps of rain outside my window,
It’s louder friend only seconds behind.
They bring me no fear,
No wariness, no excitement.
When I say no,
I mean it.
When I say yes,
It seems to fit.
When I cry,
It’s for a reason.
When I smile,
I’m having fun.
When I frown,
It’s ‘cause I’m happy.
When I yell,
What do you see? What do you hear?
What do you feel, what’s coming near?
How does it happen? How does it come?
How does it rise, or fall from the sun?
Where does it live? Where does it sleep?
