I love writing poetry, obviously. However, it's become more of a minimal hobby than something I used to actively pursue, which I'm striving to change. I currently a college sophomore and I hope to become an English teacher, either in elementary of high school scenes to educate and inspire future generations to think and creatively express themselves. For where would we be without a teacher of some sort?

Pure and spotless
The girl inside it
Red cheeks admist swirling snow
A Little girl in a little white coat
Innocent...
I taught you to dance, you taught me to love
Singing a song from Heaven above
Truer a friend there almost never was
Save the word unspoken...
Oh rose, beautiful rose
How sweet thy summer blossoms thee
Droplets hang from thy lush petals
Joyful bumblbees buzz around thy scented...
Often buried beneath alluring jewels
Off to the side, a solitary fissure in its frame
Just as precious, yet in a simpler way-
For her...
