I am a high school student in Oklahoma working towards earning money for college through writing. However, I love to write so it is not simply for money. I believe that the simple pleasures of this world such as the arts should be cherished. Speaking of which, I am an avid musician and performer as well. I am adopted by a wonderfully loving family who means the world to me and they have inspired me to do much in life. Life is too short not to find love and enjoyment in it.
I still hear her words in the back of my mind.
Every night they are there ever so perpetually.
As I sleep I hear her with that sickening...
The time has come. The seasons have changed and time is passing by painstakingly slow. It seems so long now since I've tasted the sweet...
It cries out to you in the night;
“Attention!” it says, “Please you need me and I need you. Just let me in”.
You hear the calls and awaken...
Yes that's me,

They see not the true me.
People look at me and think...
There is a monster under my bed.
