My harmartia is Nostalgia, as time urges me forward while try to silence its drum. Hey My Name is Chukwuka Chidozie Chukwurah, but since a lot of people struggle to pronounce my name, my friends Just call me Chuka. Typically i consider myself someone who has been in love with literature ever since he was a kid, especially fiction and its stories of hero's and their journeys to find themselves. I think in life we are all heroes on our own journeys, struggling to find truth and dealing with the stages between us and truth. Ultimately as humans we want peace and, although our versions of peace may vary, there are similarities between our different versions of peace. We all have a heart yearning for gold but sometimes in life we just happen to look for it in the wrong places, we're antagonized by struggles and withered by circumstance, and i think thats where i see myself. I'm A college student who currently attends the University Of North Texas, Majoring in English with a concentration in Language arts, accompanied by Teacher certification for grades 6-12. I'm a struggling Catholic trying to find the truth about my faith and who i'm meant to be while also being a struggling grown up, making mistakes, paying the price, and wishing i could be just as happy as a younger me, but one day i will be. My goal is to one day teach language arts and creative writing, for either college or high school, and help kids on their journeys through life and their attempts to figure out who they are. I want to inspire kids and people to aspire for truth, live with passion, and aim to be the best version of themselves that they can be.
