Poems from RisingPhoenix
Short soft hair
Frames perfect face
Brown eyes wide with pleasure
Plump lips with a smile trace
Salt and lavender
Savory and spicy yet...
Red kisses spread out
Along cherry tree's branches
And pale porcelain cheeks
I go in sorrow to my grave
On limbs heavy, broken, weighed
The prophet's gods my soul to save
With angry love and pockets paid
I go in...
Rip the blue veins past help
Let my blood fill the tub
Dye my hair red with it
Open my mouth for a final breath
And let the blood fall in...
My eyes narrow
You are standing there
There's hate down to my marrow
As if you even care
Firmly I say no
And your shock I despise even...
