I am 18 years old and have been writing poetry for as long as I can remember. I draw from my real life experiences. "Some one once told me that your poem doesn't start until you start telling the truth"-Jasmine Mans Even before discovering the poems of Jasmine Mans and Kai Davis I knew that poetry was something that I loved and would continue to do. After discovering these ladies and many other poets, I realized that my love didn't have to be hidden. It was something that i should own. I am shy in terms of performing and open in terms of casual situations. I am trying to put myself out there more and face my fear of rejection. So I'm posting my poems here and on hellopoetry.com.
