Sick. Sick and tired,
From running so very far,
Hurt. Hurt and bleeding,
This wound left a scar,
Black. Black and bruised,
So deep from...
Fought so long and hard that I've forgotten who I am,
Breathed the dust of angels and choked on the sand,
Wrestled with the devil and bled...
Nothing much I'd rather do,
Than sit while reading poetry.
Laying aside worldy cares,
'Cept for my cup of British tea.
I laugh when...
We all are in a warzone,
And the enemy is closing in,
Surrounding us with armies,
But we aren't done with him.
This is war, and it's not...
Mistakes should have been my middle name.
Yet Lord, You loved me just the same.
Nothing I did deserved Your grace,
