Poems from Chris.bet@live.com
I was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala. I have lived all over the US since my dad was in the Army and now reside in the border city of El Paso, Texas. Although I do not have a long time writing poetry, I really love it and hope to grow as much as I can as a poet. I am currently studying English at El Paso Community College. I also aspire to have my work published. Most of the stuff I write is on the political spectrum.

Between these walls lie hope
A special place
Hope of one day achieving a dream
Perhaps a piece of paper with your name on it
Stating that...

As the sky turns into giant puffs of blackness
Hold on
Hold on...
Materialism
